David Folsom

David Folsom, age 82, of Roscoe, SD passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Angelhaus in Aberdeen, SD.

His wishes were to be cremated with no formal services to be held at this time. 

Our author, mathematician, musician, contractor, father has moved from this earthly world to the next.  David Folsom went to be with his beloved wife on Sunday, October 1, 2023 following an extended illness. 

David was born September 26, 1941, in Helena Montana to Orrin J. Folsom and Jeanette S. Folsom.
David married the love of his life, Sandra Minor on December 3, 1960. David and Sandra lived in many areas of Montana, with Helena, their final home until retirement in 2000 when they moved to Yuma, Arizona. In Arizona, they found an amazing group of new and old friends with whom they shared many adventures. Retirement allowed them to travel extensively throughout the United States and fulfilled their lifelong dream to see Great Britain and Egypt.

Our lives were enriched by a man of varied talents.  He could spin a story of epic proportions, do any math calculation needed for all his many construction projects and woodworking projects, play the guitar or the piano so we could all sing a tune (on or off key).  His greatest talent was father and grandfather!  Those left to cherish his memory are his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His wife, parents, brother, and mother and father-in-law preceded him in death.

The family would like to thank the many great friends that supported them during this difficult time.

At his request no memorial is planned.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
