Michael Weber

Michael Richard "Dick" Weber was born September 15, 1939 to Mike and Katie Weber in Aberdeen, SD. He attended elementary school at Holy Cross Catholic School in Ipswich and graduated from Ipswich High School in 1958. Dick then attended a vo-tech school in Minneapolis for training with the airlines.

He married the former Joyce Aldrich in 1960 in Aberdeen. He became employed with Continental Airlines and lived in the Chicago area for many years. It was here that his two daughters were born. He traveled for many years as director of passenger service on the airliners.

Dick later married Cheryl in 1979. They lived in Hawaii for many years. After 45 years with Continental he retired and they moved to the Houston area where he passed away on February 19, 2009 with Leukemia.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughters, Pam of California and Deb of Vail, CO; one grandson, Zack; two brothers, Ken (Ronna) Weber of Ipswich and Tom (Linda) Weber of Mantica, CA; sister, Linda Gisi of Ipswich and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
